Tracy S. Reifer is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and received his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, Tracy worked in the Consumer Protection Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s Office. At Carman, Callahan & Ingham, LLP, Tracy is lead trial counsel for clients who have been sued, most often, in one of in the five boroughs of the City of New York. His clients include individuals, companies as well as the insurers that provide coverage for the losses. Tracy has used his experience in these difficult venues to structure favorable settlements for our clients because he has the insight needed to position the case so that the other side understands a settlement per our terms in the best solution. When necessary, Tracy tries cases to verdict and has done so with remarkable results. He also has established a favorable litigation track record non-suiting claimants based upon issues involving liability and the nature and extent of the claimant’s damages. Tracy is a member of the New York State Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
